Do you write academic papers for individuals?

No, I do not write academic papers for others to turn in.  However, I do provide guidance to individuals who are tackling academic tasks.


Other than the blog, what services do you provide?

I am available to provide editing, proofreading, and APA formatting help.  In addition, I may be contracted to provide guidance and consultation to writers with challenging academic tasks such as synthesizing, revising a thesis or dissertation, and analysis.


How much do you charge?

My basic rate is $58/hr.


How are services provided?

At this time, I provide services through a well regarded third party freelancing website called Upwork.  This website empowers you to monitor and control the overall process with ease.  Here is my personal profile, with comments and ratings from previous clients.


What is the Writing Doctor’s qualifying experience?

I have over 19 years of experience as a college-level English language and composition teacher, and a master’s degree in education. I also have extensive experience proofreading, editing, formatting and consulting for APA academic writing.

My experience compasses working on a number of dissertations and other doctoral-level documents, resulting in the successful completion the project or of the acceptance of the dissertation.  Universities/colleges represented in my work include the following: Berkeley, Dartmouth (personal statement for a professor’s bid for promotion), Goethe University Frankfurt (academic journal article), Bellevue Univ., Creighton Univ., Grand Canyon Univ., Walden Univ., and University of Phoenix.
